This fascinating walk starts at the Old Washpen Woolshed and takes you through an ancient Volcanic Canyon which is now a reserve filled with lush native bush and wonderful birdlife. This unspoilt area is easily accessed via sympathetically constructed tracks, stairs and board walks.

Useful information about our unique & private alpine walking track:

• The walk is situated on a high country working farm

• Allow 2 hours (moderate fitness recommended)

• The walk is a loop track

• Walkable all year round except in extreme weather

• Warm clothing & sturdy footwear required

• Bring a camera!

• Prams are not suitable

• Dogs are not permitted

• A fee is charged which includes a track guide & use of walking sticks
