Mt Hutt Ski field is our closest mountain with breathtaking views. It’s only a short 20 minute drive to the access road. Within a one hour drive are six other majestic mountains, including, Mt Olympus, Craigieburn, Temple Basin, Porter Heights, Cheeseman and Broken River.

Staveley Ice Skating Rink
The ice skating rink opened in 1951 and is one of the few natural ice skating locations remaining in New Zealand. Typically open from late June til August., on Wednesday evenings and weekends.
